Open the main Shroom and Gloom Steam app when you want the paid Early Access game; its store record is separate from the free Demo.
Use the free Demo only when you specifically want its earlier, smaller ruleset. Do not carry a Demo instruction into Early Access without checking the build.
For current answers, check the Early Access build and the latest developer patch notes. Characters, paths, quests, card pools, and balance can still change before 1.0.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The main Steam app shows Early Access as available while the free Demo remains its own app. You are using the right build before following a guide.
VERSION BOUNDARY
The Early Access launch and separate Demo are confirmed by Team Lazerbeam and Steam. Price, exact unlock time by region, and the eventual 1.0 date are not claimed here.
