QUICK FIELD CHECK
Match the Curse in your hand to its exit.
Use the printed property, not the disappearance animation. These rows cover the verified Demo exit rule; exact enemy-to-Curse mappings remain outside this table.

- Why it leavesIt is not recorded as Temporary and does not consume itself.
CURSE EXIT RULES
Match each Curse to the way it leaves.
Inspect enemy intents before committing your hand; the incoming Curse is signalled there.
Read the property line. Temporary means the card is destroyed when it leaves your hand; Linger means it will not be discarded automatically at turn end; Unplayable means you cannot cast it.
For Spore Lung or Panic, use a Discard or another effect that moves the card out of your hand. Their Temporary property then destroys them.
For Touched By Gloom or Uneasy Feeling, play the card only when you can safely pay 1 or 2 health; the card then consumes itself.
For Heart Burn or another Curse without Temporary or a self-consuming effect, do not assume ordinary turn-end discard will solve it. Use only an explicit remove, exile, or encounter-specific exit.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The Curse either consumes itself after its stated health cost or leaves your hand and is destroyed by Temporary. If it remains, recheck whether it lacks Temporary or has Linger rather than repeating the same discard assumption.
VERSION BOUNDARY
The property chain is verified against the recorded Demo glossary and card records. Exact enemy-to-Curse mappings and every non-Temporary removal source are still incomplete, so this route remains noindex until the launch build is checked in a real run.
CARDS IN THIS ANSWER
Know the effect before you build around it.
Ability text is tied to the recorded Demo build. “How you get it” stays cautious where a packaged shop value does not prove a guaranteed reward.

Explore / Curse
Spore Lung
- What it does
- Linger, Temporary, and Unplayable. Each card play reduces maximum health by 1 in the Demo record.
- How you get it
- Added through an enemy action; the current evidence does not identify every enemy that can create it.
- How to clear / avoid
- Use a Discard or another effect that moves it out of your hand. Temporary then destroys it; Linger only prevents the automatic end-of-turn discard.

Explore / Curse
Panic
- What it does
- Temporary and Unplayable. Taking damage triggers another 5 damage in the recorded Demo build.
- How you get it
- Added through a telegraphed enemy action. A universal source or removal route is not confirmed.
- How to clear / avoid
- Use a Discard or another effect that moves it out of your hand; Temporary then destroys it. Avoid self-damage until it is gone.

Explore / Curse
Touched By Gloom
- What it does
- Deals 1 damage to you, then consumes itself.
- How you get it
- Enemy action is the confirmed general source; exact encounter mapping remains unverified.
- How to clear / avoid
- Unlike an unplayable curse, this one contains its own exit. Pay the 1 health only when doing so is safe.

Explore / Curse
Uneasy Feeling
- What it does
- Deals 2 damage to you, then consumes itself.
- How you get it
- Enemy action is the confirmed general source; the specific encounter is not yet mapped.
- How to clear / avoid
- Treat it as a health-cost exit. Do not play it at 2 health or lower merely to clean the hand.

Explore / Curse
Heart Burn
- What it does
- Punishes eating: the recorded trigger deals 1 damage whenever a card is eaten.
- How you get it
- Curse cards are added by telegraphed enemy actions. The exact enemy-to-card mapping is not yet verified.
- How to clear / avoid
- Avoid eating while it is active. Heart Burn is not recorded as Temporary and has no self-consuming action, so wait for an explicit remove, exile, or encounter exit.
