QUICK FIELD CHECK
Follow the Toad route until the card leaves this run.
Forget is the deck-cleanup result. Repeated Feed actions build toward it; Discard and Exhaust are different forms of temporary movement.

TOAD ROUTE
Feed, choose, then verify removal.
Read door rewards before choosing a tunnel and take the Toad Pond route when it is offered and you need run-long deck cleanup.
At the Toad interaction, feed the same Toad and watch for the Forget choice instead of assuming one Feed is enough. One current player estimates roughly four or five feeds; no current record establishes a fixed counter or visible progress meter.
When the Forget choice appears, select the card that weakens your average draw. Keep Handy cards in mind: the Demo glossary says they cannot be removed from the deck.
Confirm the chosen card is absent from the deck view after the interaction. Do not use a normal Discard or Exhaust animation as proof of permanent removal.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The chosen eligible card disappears from the deck list and does not return on a later draw in that run. A merely discarded or exhausted card will return under its normal encounter rules.
VERSION BOUNDARY
The Toad Pond reward, Toad card, Forget result, Handy exception, and distinction from Discard and Exhaust are cross-checked against current Demo records and a current player discussion. Only one player estimates four or five feeds; no source fixes the count, proves a progress meter, guarantees Toad Pond in every run, or supports deleting a card across future runs.
